Description:
The ladle transfer cart is a rail flat cart designed specifically for transporting high-temperature steel ladles between different stages of the steelmaking process such as refining, casting, and pouring stations.

Due to the extremely high temperatures of molten steel and strict safety requirements, the cart body materials, drive system, and electrical control system are all designed to much higher standards.

To prevent splashing of molten steel or slag, the motor features smooth acceleration and deceleration to minimize inertia. In addition, to protect components from radiant heat emitted by the ladle, the cart body is lined with heat-insulating materials.

To ensure reliable operation, a dual-motor drive system is adopted—if one motor fails, the other can continue running normally, thus avoiding operational interruptions.
